Export Quarantine Facility

With more Japanese horses competing in major races around the world and more international runners participating in Japanese races, there has been increasing recognition and focus on the quality of racing in Japan.

To assist in expanding the global market for Japanese horses, the JBBA operates quarantine facilities for exporting Japanese horses purchased by foreign buyers. There are two such JBBA-operated facilities on the northern island of Hokkaido and one on the southern island of Kyushu.
